The 1959 HAR Cobra jewelry set is an ultra-rare, highly collectible mid-century fantasy costume jewelry line designed by Hargo Creations.

The Motif: Features a dramatic, ready-to-strike cobra snake with raised, detailed metallic scales.
Stones and Accents: Decorated with rare textured “lava stones,” colorful enamel (often turquoise or green), and sparkling rhinestone crystals.
The Set: A full set or parure typically includes a statement necklace with a twisted gold-tone chain, a hinged bangle bracelet, and matching clip earrings and a broach.
.Lava Stones: HAR used high-quality, heavily textured, dimpled glass cabochons (often called “lava” or “volcanic” stones). They should look rough and bubbling but feel solid.
Metalwork: The base is a heavy, high-quality gold-tone metal with a textured finish mimicking snake scales. It should feel substantial and weighty, not light or plasticky.
Rhinestones: The accents (often the cobra’s eyes or body highlights) are genuine prong-set or tightly glued Swarovski rhinestones from the era, not cheap modern plastic rhinestones.
