Invitation to the Texas Welcome Dinner for President John F. Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson, for November 22, 1963 in Austin, TX. Cancelled due to the assassination of JFK earlier that day.
This unique piece of history also includes the return card for RSVP and getting tickets. This was found in the estate of a former South Texas Democratic Party chair. This is original and a great piece of US and Presidential history to own!
The invitation itself is 7″ x 10″. The return card is 3″ x 5″. Both are in good condition. There is a naturual fold line in middle of the invitation. the return card has some envelope residue that you can see what holding to a light.
